Liposuction CAN'T Help You Get Rid Of Cellulite
There is a common misconception that liposuction can be used to improve the appearance of cellulite, unfortunately, this is not true. One does not have to have excess fat to have cellulite and everyone who can benefit from liposuction doesn’t necessarily have cellulite. Liposuction is meant to remove and contour the deeper fatty deposits. It does not address the more superficial fat layer nor does it do anything to the fibrous bands that cause the dimpling seen in cellulite.
The unique ability for Cellulaze to treat cellulite now allows a patient to have either condition or both conditions treated with long-term results. At this point if the cellulite and areas of excess fat are overlapping the liposuction and Cellulaze are done on separate days, ideally, the two procedures spaced a minimum of 4 weeks apart. If the areas do not overlap they can then be treated in a single procedure. The best way to find out which treatment, or treatments, is best for you is at the time of a personal consultation.
